WE ARE Next Stop - New Life! We don't mean to stop, we mean life! Because life is not stopping but an endless process. And we want this process to bring joy and hope, not boredom or frustration.

We are a youth organisation that supports and develops youth initiatives in culture, education, environment protection, and social life. We are united in Next Stop to create and use extra opportunities of self-expression and realisation.

Next Stop - New Life is the continium of our own space and time, a here-&-now where every person and idea have a chance.
We are constructive because we actualise different ideas. We are artistic 'cause we aspire to freedom and improvisation. We are democratic 'cause we're against discrimination.

WE WANT life to be humane and interesting. We want cultural integration of isolated communities, love, fun, carnival, real democratic society with all kinds of freedom.
And we want to open our eyes at the endless world.

WE DO create a dimension of culture. This is what all Next Stop projects are about, including multilateral youth exchanges, festivals, conferences, seminars, theatre caravans, international environmental work camps, social projects, cultural exchanges, creative studios, dialogue schools, study visits, you name it!

Legal Information

The republic-level Belarusian youth society Next Stop - New Life was registered on January 25, 1991. Re-registered on March 27, 1995 by the ministry of justice of the Republic of Belarus. Our top authority is the General Assembly that delegates some of its functions between its sessions to the Coordination Board.

We've started in 1989, when the Danish movement Next Stop - Soviet seeped through the by-then battered Iron Curtain. It was then when we, young people from different countries, understood that there was actually no real difference between our ideals and that we could organise all kinds of activities to show it. A theatre caravan swept from Warsaw through Minsk and Smolensk to Moscow and left our souls a-signing. We could never reverse to the past life, so the organisation Next Stop - New Life was born.

In those early days we were few and started with simple youth exchanges that gave us a then rare opportunity to reach out for a different world. And our own world started to become different, maybe because we returned home quite changed. We returned to find there were more of us and more new ideas.

Since then, we have carried out many projects, many of which span off as separate organisations, namely Ecohome, New Faces, and Different-Equal.

We are a member organisation of Rada, the Belarusian National Council of Youth and Children's Organisations.
